Using the chart tool below, users may generate customized graphics to present selected data. Chart title, x- and y-axis labels are optional and may be added by the user or left blank.

For Bar, Column and Line charts, x-axis labels can be used to indicate the geographical units selected (e.g., counties, states, regions) and y-axis labels can be used to specify the values of the variables selected (e.g., counts, percentages).

For Pie charts, it is suggested that either a single variable be selected and that geographical units selected add to 100 % for the variable (e.g., all females by county in a state, all deaths by state in a region), or that a single area be selected and the variables add to 100% for the area (e.g., percentage of male, female in the area selected). For Pie charts, only the chart title can be specified.
